Quick post, I made this double digit addition scoot (no regrouping) for my monday's math since I will be at docs finding out the sex of our baby! :) I thought I'd share in case you want to use or keep for next year. :)

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday! It's a beautiful day out..what an opposite from yesterday and I can't wait to get out and do some errands, but before I do that, I wanted to share with you a math game I made for this week. 

Last week, we were studying measurement and this week we're switching gears to shapes. On Thursday, I plan to play scoot with the kids and hopefully that goes well because we've never played it but there's so many scoot games out there, I want to teach them! So our focus for Thursday will be on quadrilaterals. After we complete a smart board activity and create an anchor chart, I plan to set up the game and we'll go at it! I whipped this up and wanted to share with you in case you'd find it useful for your class as well. We have 27 kids so this packet includes 27 cards and a corresponding recording sheet. New Math Game :)

Hi! I just got done creating this cute ocean math game. It covers a wide variety of concepts. I did it with my first graders in mind but advanced kindergartners could probably play it too if you read the word problems. :) The skills covered include addition, subtraction, story problems and even a bit of science mixed in. The way to play....played similar to a board game. Students take turns drawing from the pile. If they get the answer correct, they get the point shown on the space they landed on. If they get a fish card, they get 2 bonus points! I can't wait to use it on Monday! The first 3 people to comment (with email) will get it FREE!
