Writing Freebie!

Hey everyone! How was your week? With my cold and coming back from break, it was a busy and quick one for me. I'm ready to clean the apartment today and get out and enjoy the beautiful weather we have today. It's been such a great week with temps in the low 80's and sunny. I am literally soaking it all up!

Well yesterday was busy at school. We had a meeting to discuss our kiddos who are struggling and then my principal gave us all the lists of kids we'll have with special needs next year. I've got 4 which isn't too bad and the one little girl is a twin and such a cutie so I'm glad to have her. I can't wait to see the rest of my list! I'm thinking my class size will be between 14-18 so a much better number than the 28 we had this year...and I get my own classroom! :) I got to check it out yesterday and there is a lot of cabinet space which is great! 

Anyway, I'm slowly starting to make things for next year and change around what I already have. (I know I am waayy early, but it'll also be a busy summer personally as I get ready for the wedding) 
So I made these writing topics cards and will probably put them on the cabinets or wherever I set up the writing area. Feel free to click the pic to grab your copy! :) Ok off to clean and do some laundry.

First grade writing folder

Good Morning...or I should say afternoon (boy do I need to get off this computer! haha) So I've been very interested in these writing folders or offices I've been seeing around the net. I think they are a wonderful resource for any grade. Children can store them in their desks and when it's time for writing, they have them available as a resource. I created my own version with a monster theme. Here is how the finished product looks...I put the word wall on the back so there was more space on the inside.
