Valentine Write the Room

Hey friends! I hope you are enjoying your Monday off! :) If you're one of those unfortunate that have to work, I at least hope the kiddos are behaving! :) So I've been using all weekend to catch up with centers, printing and laminating. I am so glad to have a control on things and stay organized. I made this write the room I'd like to share with you! I hope you like it! (Clipart courtesy of Thistle Girl design...love her work!)

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great week. Yay for the weekend! It is a beautiful fall day here in central North Carolina. I wanted to go to the mountains today, but my fiance has to do some work so I hope we'll go tomorrow! The trees are just about at their peak and I don't want to miss the fall show! :)

I just finished up this write the room forest animal themed center. Next week we are talking about the forest/woodland habitat and I thought this would be cute for the kiddos to do. When they find the words, they have to sort them based on the UR IR chunks. I hope you like it!

Also I am getting so excited for Halloween. Our school is not allowed to dress up, but we are having a fall festival party on halloween! :) And then it always seems once that holiday is over, the Christmas holidays are right around the corner! (We have Christmas things up already at Walmart!) I can't wait to go back home this year and see my family. :) Welp, I hope you all have a relaxing Saturday. I think I might head up to Greensboro in a while and hit up the teacher store. :D

A little of this and a little of That (plus freebie!)

Hey friends! I hope you had a good weekend. Mine started off horrible, but ended pretty good. Last night we went to the fair and I got to see my first rodeo. I must say, it was exciting, but I felt bad for the animals and the one poor fella looked like he got hurt real bad, so I can say it's not my cup of tea. 

Anyway, the children were not making a lot of great choices today and I was very upset with them, but luckily the day passed quickly and now I get to enjoy my evening. 
We have a short week this week. We only have the kids till wed. then PD on thursday and Friday is technically a work day, but I got the day as an annual leave so the future hubby and I are going to Charleston, SC!! Soo freakin excited! (I booked us a cool hotel with a jacuzzi in the suite! And it's going to be a surprise for him!) We've never had a hot tub in suite before so this should be fun.

Short U Write the Room

Hey Friends! Happy Friday!! I get the house to myself this weekend so I will be relaxing and watching bride shows then maybe doing some shopping tomorrow. :) I created a new short u write the room and it's at my store for just a dollar so I hope you head over and grab a copy!

Also, I got inspired by all the great guided reading lessons I've seen on the linky party and pinterest so I'm also taking the time this weekend to re-do mine and plan to have them posted next week. We'll see how it goes, I feel like all I am doing is re-doing everything! haha, Just can't quite find the perfect lesson plan formats yet.
