Last week, we were studying measurement and this week we're switching gears to shapes. On Thursday, I plan to play scoot with the kids and hopefully that goes well because we've never played it but there's so many scoot games out there, I want to teach them! So our focus for Thursday will be on quadrilaterals. After we complete a smart board activity and create an anchor chart, I plan to set up the game and we'll go at it! I whipped this up and wanted to share with you in case you'd find it useful for your class as well. We have 27 kids so this packet includes 27 cards and a corresponding recording sheet. Hope you love it as much as I think we'll do! Have a great afternoon!

Quadrilaterals Freebie!!
Hey everyone! Happy Sunday! It's a beautiful day out..what an opposite from yesterday and I can't wait to get out and do some errands, but before I do that, I wanted to share with you a math game I made for this week.

This is GREAT! But I have maybe a very silly question. Some of the cards you have shapes that are not quadrilaterals. Like a cloud and a circle. What do you have students put on those lines if this is a quadrilateral game? I am hoping to use this tomorrow so if you could email me asap that would be awesome!
