Giveaway Freebie Day 6!

Hey everyone! I'm a day late posting this, but yesterday after school we left to make a quick drive up to Ohio. The future Mr had to do some work for family friends today and I thought I'd tag along to see my mom and get some wedding stuff done. :) We didn't get in until 1am last night. Man, I forget how long the drive is from NC.
Anyway, SO glad it's the weekend and next week is our last week of school! The kids have a half day on Friday so we technically only have 4.5 days left, but I'm a little behind on my freebies! I'll try to catch up Monday. ;) So here we go!

This is a little generic game that focuses on the skill of rhyming. Kids must read the two words on the card, and determine if they rhyme or not, then sort them under the appropriate heading. Hope you like it! Now off to do some shopping with my mom! :) Have a great Saturday!

Ready to Rhyme?

Hi friends! Hope everyone is having a good day! I went up to greensboro to Fuddruckers for lunch today. Best place ever! They have the tastiest burgers! Anyway, I uploaded a new file in my TN store. I wanted to put it in TPT too but it's not letting me upload so I have to ask my computer guru fiance what's going on. In any case, it's a circus rhyming card game. Students take a card and read the word then have to give another word that rhymes. They can also pull a go-again card, and take another turn. Once they pull a game over card, everyone is finished and whoever has the most cards wins the game. I'm pretty excited to play this in the coming weeks with my reading groups.

Hop on over to my store to check it out! Thanks and have a great weekend! :)

Letters From Santa! and a Freebie!

Hey everyone! I am still in shock and sadness over the events of this weekend, but we opted not to even discuss it with our kiddos. They came in bright and cheery today and I was grateful for their little hugs and smiles. :)

Last week, my co-teacher and I had them write letters to Santa then we "delivered" them and on Friday, they got a package via our little elf Toby with letters addressed to each child! Boy we're they squealing with delight!

Also, we put together our goodie bags to give out on Thursday. We have a half day that day which is wonderful! I am so ready to hit the road back to Ohio and for a whole week this time, not just a few days! :)
I printed up the tags via A Modern Teacher :) So adorable!
Finally, I created a rhyming pocket chart center for our stations this week. It's a skill that often get over looked for us, but it's nice to review once in a while. Click on the pic to snag a copy! :)

I hope everyone has a good week. I'm sure this is the last week of school for break for many of you so hope it's filled with fun and laughter. :)
