Hi everyone! Welp, it's Thursday evening and I am offically exhausted from the week and ready for Friday! :) I hope everyone's week went well. Mine have it's ups and downs.
Next week we are starting on greater/less than on Monday and Tuesday and for our math center, I was thinking we could have do an activity where students have a cup filled with those yellow/red counters and shake, spill and count up red then yellow and record how many and add the sign. Here is a free recording sheet if you'd like to do that too! :)
Also, I just got done finishing grading my unit 1 math tests that I created and they didn't do too bad. We'll need to focus on tallies again next week and ten frames, but for the most part, I'm pretty proud of them. I don't know if you could use this, but I thought I'd share the test I made too...just in case it may come in handy for you!
Alrighty, that's all for today...I'm off to watch Four Weddings :) I love thursday nights
Thanks for the great freebie! My kiddos have been using those counters to make basic equations this week. This activity will be great to use when we talk about greater than/less than.
