First day jitters Linky

Back to School Jitters Linky Party
Hey everyone! So I have to admit, I was a little lazy this weekend, but I was trying to catch my breath after the whirl wind of a week. Meetings, decorating and organizing. I wasn't getting home till 6. (I don't want that to become a trend) So Luckily we got most of the stuff done on Friday and then tomorrow and Tuesday will be tying up loose ends before we see the kids on Wednesday.
I'm excited to join A Turn to Learn's Linky party. Even us teachers get the jitters and I am definitely nervous for this school year because last year I was just title one and this year I'll have so many more responsibilities and work. So here is what I'm nervous for..

Be sure to link up and share yours! Our open house is tomorrow night...I'll be sure to letcha know how that goes! ;)

  1. Google Translate will be your best friend! Just make sure you tell the parents that you will use a computerized translator sometimes in an effort to keep them involved, and to please be understanding if something isn't quite right. Hopefully you will also have someone at the school who can help... Or maybe a parent who is bilingual would help you proofread! It'll be okay!

  5. Aww, I am moving up from first to fourth this year. The firsties are always so adorable on the first day of school. I also have a high hispanic population at my school and have trouble communicating with parents. Good luck this year! I'm your newest follower.:)
