Ten Pin Linky!

Hey everyone! Well I must say, I am loving being home with my mom, spending time with family and getting some more wedding planning done! We are down to 106 days and I'm starting to feel very stressed! This weekend, I'm making my card box and will post pics to show you...kind of a Wedding Monday Made it! lol. But today, I am linking up with Ashley Reed for her Ten Pin Party! What fun!

I searched my boards and here's some of my favorites...

Math Centers like Daily 5 --- B- Buddy Games U- Using Manipulatives I- Independent Work L- Learning about Numbers D- Doing Math
I like this idea of using baskets similar to daily 5 math centers. B is buddy games, U is using manipulatives, I is independent work, L is learning about numbers and D is doing math. Very neat idea!

Task cards for math work stations
I like these task cards and printables for math stations.
numbers

Here is a set of number poems to write the numbers 0-10.

candy activity
This is a candy activity with a sheet of different tasks to complete.

hundreds game. pull number from bag and color in then give bag to next player

I like that this is such a simple game. Students pull a number, color it in on their hundreds board and can play independently, or with a partner.
1 fish 2 fish math craft
Cute when practicing beginning addition and reading 1 fish, 2 fish. :)
measuring- length
Great idea for beginning measuring and using real candy...always helps!
multiplication
I love this game! Put addition and subtraction facts on the sticks, pass it around and students read the number sentence and give the answer. If wrong, the stick goes back in the bucket.
Ways to make numbers...Wanted Posters!
With Common Core, this is such a cute way to show the different number forms. I love this!
interactive number line...have kids stand on numbers and call out number sentence, then hop up to number and give answer

Ok, so I might be biased, but this is one of my own! I set this number line up on the carpet and the kids "hopped" back and forth as we practiced addition and subtraction.

Well that's all for today! I have to go make my parents some dinner! :) My mom wanted to try this caprese pasta I make. Have a great evening! And then tonight, I'm feeling some smores and a bonfire with the little sis! ;)

  1. Hi Sarah! I'm your newest follower. Congrats on your upcoming marriage. Today is actually my 5th wedding anniversary. Time flies.

I love the wanted sign to show the different ways to compose a number. I know the kids will love it!
