I hate needles

Well I don't have anything education related to talk about tonight, but would like to share how much I hate needles. You see, I've been living with this lipoma (small benign tumor) on the side of my neck for about 3 years now. I never thought to go to the doc's because I knew enough about it to know it was benign (I know I'm assuming) but then I got engaged and my fiance said he wouldn't marry me until I had it looked at. Well I went and my suspicions were correct, it was a benign tumor. Well I hate needles so much that the doc said she could perform surgery and get it out but I was like, no it's ok, if it's not a bother why fix it. (even though countless people always ask me about it..is that a misquito bite etc) Well about 4 days ago, it started getting a little pink. Again, didn't think anything of it, but now it's bright red and definitely doubled in size. :( Of course, I have an emergency with the doc tomorrow after school and hopefully (and I can't believe i'm saying this) she can take it out becuase the actual appt to get surgery isnt until next friday but I got in tomorrow to have her take a look at it. Ugh! So nervous....I have a small tattoo and I know you forget the pain, but I hate needles ever since I had to have my knee drained when it swelled a few years ago.
Anyway, long post, but I guess pray for me and wish me luck. I'd like to get it taken care of once and for all so I can breathe a bit, but it's still super scary. (I admit i'm bringing my mom tomorrow for support!)
