Hello! So I'm getting more school stuff done on this rainy day today. (I told myself I wouldn't do any work this weekend, but last night, I got behind on a project) 
So as a team, we would like to know a lot about our little kinders. I made this questionnaire for parents to take home at open house and fill out, then bring back the first week. There are a lot of helpful questions that I never thought to ask last year. Hi Sweet friends! Well yesterday was a fun day. I got to relax and work on the computer. I also skyped with my mom and made our bridal shower tags and started working on our wedding favor tags. It's getting closer...77 days till the wedding! :) Then we went to this really cool restaurant for my birthday dinner! And THEN, the future hubby surprised me and said next weekend once I get back from Michigan, we're going on a trip. Of course he held out on me the whole day, but when we went to bed, finally told me it was Charleston, SC!!! Whoo hoo! That's one of my favorite places in the world! :D (doin' the happy dance!)

And he said more surprises were on the way once we got there! (squeal!!) He's the greatest!!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Hey friends! Well, we have finally moved (although still unpacking) and got the internet and everything up and ready! I have been so busy this week, that I've only gotten 2 hours to spend at the pool yesterday and then other things have just come up. I'm hoping today can be relaxing because on Sunday, I board a plane for Michigan for a week long PD session and then a week after that, it's school mode!

Hey everyone! Welp, I'm back home now. The drive is always the worst. By the last 2 hours, I am cranky and agitated. Plus, I went from rain in Ohio, to rain in North Carolina...and it's raining AGAIN this morning! Ugh! Rain, rain go away! (give it AZ who reallly needs it!)

Anyway, the future Mr. and I had such a great night last night! He was so excited to see me..I was gone for 5 days. We ordered pizza and cuddled and watched some tv. It was wonderful! And he said he got such a good night's sleep since I was finally home. :)

Get ready, Get set!

Hey Friends! How was your weekend?! Mine was awesome! We went to the Georgia Aquarium for the future Mr.'s 27th birthday! He's been wanting to go forever and since we live a little closer to it now, I surprised him with the trip for his birthday! Here's some pics... (I'd highly recommend it!)

On another note...I've been watching to see if TPT was going to host a sale for teacher appreciation week and they are! My store will be 15% off and then you'll get an additional 10% when you use the code! I'm writing up things I must buy for my wishlist! :)

A Sale and Great News!

Hey Friends! Well I am sick. :( It's not terrible, but I do have a little cold, and I leave for the long road trip back to cleveland tomorrow morning. Ugh, getting medicine as soon as I'm done with this post. I wanted to share two things with you. Although my little TPT store is just that...little, it will be on sale tomorrow and Sunday for the Spring Cleaning Sale! :) And hey, while you're there...follow my store! I'm always putting up new products! ;)

And really good news I've been meaning to share.....next year, I will have MY OWN CLASSROOM!! Whoo hoo!!! As you know, this year, I've been co-teaching, which I have to say has been wonderful. I really love my co-teacher and we have become best buds, but the incoming firsties are going to be very needy academic-wise and the room we are in now is just too big, so my principal has decided to give us our own rooms and then 2 second grade teachers will take the big room and be co-teaching. But oh my gosh, I am just overjoyed with the exciting news! I've wanted my own classroom since I graduated 2 years ago. I'm going to be super busy this summer getting everything together. Ok, well that's it for me today, have a wonderful Friday!! :)

Currently and Much to Share :)

Hello sweet friends! Happy Saturday. It's a beautiful, but cold day here in NC. My fiance's cousin moved out today which is good and bad...good because now we have the place to ourselves, bad, because he was helping to contribute to rent. ;) But I think we'll be ok, and I moved all of my clothes from our closet to the now guest bedroom and I'm going to turn the guest bathroom into my little space so I'm pretty psyched about that. :)

Well, it's a new month and I just love Farley's Currently, so here goes mine!

 

I just hate that our bedroom dresser is full of Steve's stuff (bills, paper, ammo) and he also leaves clothes all over. Ick! I hate that, but I've been with him for 7 years now, so I learn to get over it and clean up after him. That's a battle I'll never win! lol.

People around my area drive terrible. Our main road is 45mph and people drive 35, sometimes 30. I tend to have some road rage in me at all times and am always yelling in the car. Luckily I tend to think of myself as a pretty decent driver and can easily swerve in and out without cutting them off.

Finally, I hate when people talk behind backs. Just say what you need to to my face. It may offend me, or have my feelings hurt, but I'd rather get it out in the open than to hear it from someone else. Case in point, I found out my co-teacher's assistant has been talking to other people that we don't know how to manage the classroom because the kids are always loud. (we have a super high ceiling and 27 little ones so it's going to be hard to keep them quiet all the time) also, she doesn't understand how we run out of copies all the time (remember that 1500 limit) when other classes can have enough for the month. Well, those other classes she refers to are 4th graders who all have laptops, so the teacher doesn't need to copy as much, plus we have to make morning work and center papers...ugh, I digress.

I know TPT is running a sale tomorrow and I have some goodies in my cart, but TN is also running a sale and I wanted to share that with you. I am putting all my products at 30% off so a little better than TPT. Stop on over. :)
