What we did on Valentine's Day

I wanted to post a few pics from this year. Thanks to The Teacher Wife for her wonderful idea on glow stick valentines. I made them for my kids and they loved them. Such a neat, and cheap idea!
My third graders played a multiplication snowball game that I cannot remember where I got from but the game wasn't my own idea. They absolutely loved it though!
My second graders colored a valentines addition picture they had to solve and then use the code to color.

And my first graders measured with candy hearts. I got this idea from Keen on Kindergarten. They really loved it and got a lot out of this lesson! :) Thanks Meredith!

Finally, last but not least...I was so excited to give this gift to my future hubby! We didn't get each other much this year (but are going on a date tomorrow night) for Valentines day since we're now saving for the wedding, but I found this idea on Pinterest and had to make it. 52 reasons I love you. It was actually really hard to assemble the book with all the cards, but I did it! He read through it and had tears in his eyes! :) Love him!

  1. So cute! I love how you took the time to come up with 52 reasons you love your future hubby. I need to do this for mine as I know he will appreciate it.
