Monday Made it!

Hey friends! I am linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for my first Monday Made it of the summer!

 

 My little projects took no time and at all and of course I found the mason jar idea through Pinterest (it's a great little place, but I think we teachers benefit from it the most!)

So I grew up in Ohio, but moved to the south 2 years ago this summer. I always have had an obession with the south for some reason and am very happy to know call NC my home. :) I know no other icon says the south than mason jars, so when I saw these lights on Pinterest, I knew I had to make some for our new house. 

 

 

I found the jars at Hobby Lobby for about 2 dollars and then also got battery operated lights (for safety since they hang kinda low) and some cheap twine. :) For 5 lights it cost me less than 30 bucks and I love sitting out in the evenings with them on! 

This other one is food related, but we have wild blackberries growing in our backyard and I was so excited to make something with them. Here you have Lemon-Blackberry cupcakes. They came out oh so yummy and were super easy to whip up!

Tomorrow is my interview with the big school!! I am super nervous and will post more about that tomorrow before I go. Pray for me friends! 

I'm off to clean the spare bedrooms in anticipation of our family coming this week. Have a great Monday!
