100 day and Heart day!

Good Morning! I am so glad it's Saturday. It has been one buys week! My poor husband has not been able to come home till 8-9pm most nights. (Today I'm letting him play video games all day!) 
So I'm catching up for the week ahead. We've got 100 day on Wednesday and Valentine's day on Friday. Our school cannot have whole class parties, but they did give us the go ahead to pass out valentines and do valentine related activities. I found these cute erasers at Dollar Tree and made them into valentines. :)

I also am making cupcakes to go along with the holiday.

Then before that, I'm getting so excited for 100 day this year. Last year I taught first grade, and while it was fun to celebrate, they had done it the year previously as well. This year, in Kindergarten, it is their first 100 day and the kiddos are soo excited, which makes me even MORE excited! :) So I got glow stick bracelets (again from Dollar Tree) and have attached these little tags to them. I'm going to have them sitting on their desks when they come in. :)

And on a non-teaching related note, I think I said in my previous post that we have not had a lot of luck on houses lately. BUT, we did go out on Thursday night and fell in love with one and put a bid on it. The price just recently dropped and it's been on the market for a while, so I have a good feeling about this one. We should hear by Tuesday. I don't want to post a pic yet, because I don't want to jinx it, but I will definitely keep you updated. Fingers crossed!!
